Long time no see. It's been a while and wanted to drop by and say hi...so hi : )

Good to see ya post Ice! I will have it because I love strategy games. I also really, REALLY suck at them so I don't know how much I'll be playing them online but I may try. If I decide to try it out, you will recognize my tag, lol.

Sadly no. I really dislike most RTS games (DoW2 was the last one I liked).
I know Blizzard is one of the few devs that delivers but I never 'got' Starcraft/Warcraft so it's unlikely I'll drop 180 bucks in the long term to play through all 3 SP campaigns.

I loved the original DoW. The 2nd one seems a bit watered down but I still enjoy it. With only a couple missions played and having not played the original SC in... well, since I finished Brood War (whenever that came out), I can only say SC2 feels similar to original DoW but with a much more extravagant meta-game/UI around it and graphics more like DoW2.
